17.3 The open frontier

This closing chapter identifies the frontier of the ORACLE program: the finite and fixed-shape checkpoints developed in the earlier parts must be extended through Parts VI–VIII. The remaining ladder has three ascending programs. They move from the shape of online information, through the geometry of repair, to the persistence of learned structure across a lifetime. Two cross-cutting inverse problems ask how much evidence this requires and when an identified tangent world comes from a differential presentation.
