DIAL-SkillOpt adds an external, versioned skill document that can be improved on training and validation traces before its behavior is tested on a locked admission set. Both constructions supply essential pieces, but neither name by itself identifies the full architectural target developed here.

OPTICOptimizing Programs Through Infinitesimal Creativity—asks when skill optimization should change not only the selected skill or its coefficients, but the language in which skills are expressed and composed. Its operational artifact is an inspectable program, often a typed Markdown workflow. Its intended infinitesimal semantics uses an involution algebroid in a tangent category. Its creative artifact is a newly constructed skill, interface, macro, decomposition, or workflow rule admitted by executions the optimizer was not allowed to edit—when the declared novelty and admission conditions are actually met.

The name marks an important separation. LASKO supplies the local geometry; DIAL-SkillOpt supplies a training procedure; OPTIC is the integrated system that diagnoses an inadequate skill theory and may extend it. The experiments reported below retain their registered DIAL-SkillOpt identifiers. Together they provide bounded mechanism evidence for OPTIC, not a demonstration of unrestricted skill invention.
