2.7 The status-bearing extension dossier

To make a creative claim auditable, every proposed jump should produce a status-bearing extension dossier

with the following components:

Prior state \((\mathfrak R,D)\).

The maintained representational package and current realization before the proposal.

Obstruction \(\omega \).

The localized failure motivating the change, possibly including \(\Theta _{\mathrm{int}}\) or its realized observer \(\Omega _{\mathrm{cre}}\). For an opportunity-driven proposal with no diagnosed failure, the record should state \(\omega =\varnothing \) rather than retrofit an obstruction after the fact.

Finite-realization record \(\gamma \).

The persistence or integration record showing whether a candidate local repair composes coherently beyond the diagnostic neighborhood. A failed realization may motivate accommodation but does not select the extension.

Package comparison \(\Upsilon \).

The explicit, componentwise change of presentation, doctrine, semantics, probes, observers, operations, or admission. When the presentation or generative language changes, \(\Upsilon \) includes the theory map \(J\).

Extended state \((\mathfrak R^{+},D^{+})\).

The proposed package and a realization interpreted in it.

Transport \(\tau \).

An account of how established content is preserved, reinterpreted, or deliberately abandoned.

Predictions \(\Pi \).

New theorems, simulations, interventions, or empirical consequences made possible by the proposed change.

Status \(\sigma \).

Proposed, admitted, revised, rejected, or presently unidentifiable.

This record separates invention from validation and makes failed creative attempts scientifically useful. Its status field also prevents a candidate from being reported as an admitted change merely because it was generated fluently or reduced the original defect. A rejected proposal can still reveal a missing observer, an inadequate simulator, or a false analogy.
