17.7 The Theory Extension Package

The principal artifact is not a prose review but a versioned Theory Extension Package. It contains enough structure for another system or investigator to inspect, challenge, and reuse the proposal:

This package makes a crucial distinction between discovering a relation and constructing an explanatory object. A relation extractor may recover all sentences correctly while leaving no theory capable of predicting an unreported context. Conversely, a theory can be compact and predictive while misrepresenting its sources. Corpus-to-theory construction requires both the structural artifact and the evidence ledger.
