17.10 The GLP-1 challenge

The initial target is a scoped theory of how GLP-1 mechanisms act across physiological contexts. The goal is not encyclopedic coverage, but a precise set of mechanisms, boundaries, unresolved conflicts, and discriminating predictions.

The frozen reference theory contains established GLP-1 entities, source types, and mechanism families. At least one evaluator-held relationship, mediator, or context split is withheld from the proposal language. The system must decide whether persistent disagreement calls for a new biological object, a refined population or temporal context, or repair of its own extraction workflow.

CLIC proposes the smallest causal extension and a counter-witness experiment. OPTIC constructs the source and data workflow needed to operationalize the new variables and, when a simulator or analysis package is available, an executable probe. RELIC ranks additional retrieval and experimental actions. The final artifact includes the theory map, source ledger, alternative explanations, new predictions, and the status of every claim.

The first pilot deliberately narrows this broad ambition. It asks whether a single missing context can be constructed from source-separated trial records without pretending to discover a new biological mechanism.
