3.8 Identification under a categorical prior

Chapter 2 replaced the bare prior “the world is a category” by a heterogeneous core sketch. Chapter 3 then made presentations and convergence precise. We now combine those two ideas. The central question is not merely whether evidence identifies a category, but whether fragmentary observers identify a realization of the prior and the way its fragments compose.
