18.14.1 View-conditioned contracts

Let \(S=(c_1,\ldots ,c_m)\) be a visual sketch, \(I\) a generated image, and \(V\) an estimate of viewpoint, framing, and action phase. A structural observer should not force every clause into a Boolean judgment. It returns

The distinction between \(\mathsf{viol}\) and \(\mathsf{unobs}\) is essential. A close photograph of a cricket striker may coherently omit the bowler, non-striker, second wicket, and umpires because they lie outside the frame. A wide image explicitly promising that every active player is visible makes the same omissions genuine violations. Likewise, a ball hidden in a pitcher’s glove may be uncertain rather than absent.

An important negative-control metric follows immediately: a useful assurance system must leave valid images alone. Its false-repair rate is
