18.14.6 Movie Mode as a semantic audit trace

Static before–after pairs conceal the reasoning boundary between diagnosis and generation. ARTISTIC Movie Mode therefore renders five recorded stages:

\[ \mathsf{Declare}\to \mathsf{Observe}\to \mathsf{Compile} \to \mathsf{Repair}\to \mathsf{Verify}. \]

The trace shows the original image, localized counter-witnesses, exact compiled contract, retained proposal, and clause-level audit. It also states whether the edit was local or reconstructive and which residuals remain uncertain. The visualization is explicitly labeled an explanatory semantic reconstruction. A black-box editor returns a completed image, so the movie is not a recording of hidden denoising steps and must not be presented as one.
