8.12 What Deep LINCS adds

Deep LINCS does not propose a replacement for backpropagation. It gives backpropagation a typed structural specification. The sketch states what the system promises; tangent lifting exposes local instability; reverse composition transports credit through the same architecture; and admission decides which detected failures justify changing the model. This is the computational substrate shared by the application chapters.
