9.7 Observation profiles before scalarization
A single number often hides the information needed to choose among repairs. LINCS therefore permits a profile-valued observation

Repair identifiability
A profile identifies repairs, relative to the declared equivalence, when
\[ \Psi _{\mathbb S}(D,e) = \Psi _{\mathbb S}(D,e') \quad \Longrightarrow \quad e\simeq e'. \]
When this implication fails, the evidence identifies only an equivalence class or moduli space of repairs. Choosing one representative may still be useful, but the choice requires an additional preference, cost, or regularity criterion.
