A Trail Map of LINCS
The Preface explains why compositional failure can become a learning signal. This trail map shows how the pieces fit together before the book develops them in detail. The route has two broad halves. Chapters 0–10 construct the theory and its reasoning architecture; Chapters 11–20 test and specialize it; Chapters 21–22 extract the common design and identify its open frontier.
Design principle
Keep four questions separate while reading: What structure was declared? What obstruction was observed? What repair was authorized? What independent evidence admitted the change?
