10.7 SCoLT: the Toulmin specialization

The Toulmin application provides the clearest specialization. The Sheaf Chain of Toulmin Thought, SCoTT, supplies the base argument sheaf: local tickets contain claims, grounds, warrants, backing, qualifiers, rebuttals, and source bindings, and descent asks whether they glue. We call the CoLT architecture specialized to this argument sketch SCoLT, the Sheaf-theoretic Chain of lincs Thought:

SCoTT is therefore the base sheaf-theoretic construction inside SCoLT. SCoLT adds tangent stability, localization, governed repair, and admission.
